Lenga is a native tree found exclusively in Patagonia
Origin: Patagonian Andes, Chile
Mature trees aged 120-150 years
Sustainable exploitation under CONAF guidance
Immersed in the terra australis, we find Patagonia, known for the majesty of its great geographical contrasts and its incomparable natural settings. Here is where Lenga, a representative species of the Andean Patagonian Forest, originates. Lenga wood is sourced under sustainable forest management guided by CONAF.
Lenga wood enhances red fruit, provides sweet notes, and touches of cedar, complemented by subtle toasted characteristics. It improves the mid-palate, adding volume and highlighting fruity and floral notes, with low astringency and soft, delicate tannins, ensuring harmonious integration with the wine.
For spirits, Lenga wood imparts a distinctive pale pink color, enhancing flavors of honey and smoke, adding a unique dimension to the final product's flavor profile.
