Originating from the Western Carpathians, Acacia wood, also known as "False Acacia", is characterized by its low content of extractable tannins and a higher reductive environment.

Contribution: This species contributes a high content of aromatic aldehydes associated with vanilla notes and enhances floral notes over time.

For white wine: It confers enhanced aromatic qualities, improves fruit, and delivers a floral character. For red wine: It adds spicy characteristics.
