MATURATION
In our park, wood is rested for 24 to 48 months to reach an optimal balance before entering production.
Each section – composed of the drying stacks – is organized according to date, origin and granulometry in order to select the best available batches for each barrel. French and American oak are the two main species, accompanied by our range of exotic wood, such as acacia, cherry and lenga.

As part of our commitment to excellence, each product manufactured at TN Coopers is identified with a unique code, ensuring full traceability from the forest to our clients’ cellars.
We can precisely and efficiently determine characteristics and origin of raw materials, batch, maturation, fabrication parameters and date, grain, toast, and quality control analysis and results.

The Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) promotes the sustainable management of forests to achieve their social, economic and environmental balance through a renewal policy. TN Coopers works with PEFC certified French and European wood suppliers.
